Wallace – Eleanor Bruner Stockdale, 85 of Wallace, died 2:35 p.m. Saturday in Lane House Nursing Care Center, Crawfordsville. She was first married to Harvin Bruner in March 1919, and he died March 1964. She married Ralph Stockdale in November 1972. He died in Feb 1977. Mrs. Stockdale was a member of Freedom Christian Church of Wallace. Surviving are four sons, Max and Bob Bruner, both of Newtown, Wayne Bruner of Youngstown Ohio and Red Bruner of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Elvin (Kathleen) Ashwell of Wallace and Mrs. Earl (Mary Alice) Shaffer of New Whiteland; a brother, Russell Philpott of Wallace and three sisters, Mrs. Della Glascock of Veedersburg, Mrs. Ura Nixon of Covington and Mrs. Alta Brown of Logansport. – thanks to Kim H
